our DOGs
Take a look at our resident dogs at Flesherton Farmhouse.
This includes both our long-term fosters and personal dogs. Each one of them has a unique story, and they have been detrimental in shaping us and our knowledge of being dog guardians, and integral part of fostering.

A dog will teach you unconditional love.
If you can have in your life, things won't be too bad.

CHLOE
Retriever x Bully
13-Years Old
Chloe was my second rescue. She came from a rescue called Ugly Mutts, and they specialized in bringing up dogs from Ohio. Chloe had a traumatized past, that included being shot with a pellet gun.
She was a challenging dog in every sense and taught me so much about being a dog guardian.

Winston
Cane Corso x Terrier
*Long Term Foster*
Winston came to Sato Saved from Hillside Kennel as a stray pull. He was found on a dead end street with a severe foot injury that had been duct taped.

Due to the extent of the injury his front leg was amputated.
Winston is considered a long-term foster, as he does require a new hip and he can behavioral in certain environments.

DUKE
Cattle Dog x Terrier
5-Years Old
Duke, was a surrender to Sato Saved, when his elderly mom needed surgery and no one in the family would take him. He was set to be euthanized for food aggression at only 2-years old.

He does have a very bi-polar personality, and is a loner most of the time - we were never supposed to keep Duke, however, Kyle bonded hard with him.

AIDAN
Collie x Doberman
11-Years Old
Winston came to Sato Saved from Hillside Kennel as a stray pull. He was found on a dead end street with a severe foot injury that had been duct taped.

Due to the extent of the injury his front leg was amputated.

NORMAN
Cattle Dog x
5-Years Old
Norman came into our family before we moved to the farm. He is one of the quirkiest dogs, and he is 100% the 'asshole' of the family.
He has never, given a kiss, and getting affection from him is like pulling teeth. We have struggled with him and his obedience, but he has been doing well over the last year!

BRUNO
Heinz57
*Long Term Foster*
Bruno, is one of the Burford hoarding home survivors, where 50+ dogs were living in a home, not experiencing the outdoors for their entire lives, and even eating one another to survive.
Bruno, is considered a long-term foster because he was tried in other foster homes with no avail - he thrives in the pack environment and does insanely well here.
